Electrosmog

At the end of the 1970's  Electrosmog (Electromagnetic pollution), a new word was created out of two words of electro and smog.

Therefore electrosmog implies the "contamination" in the vicinity of the human being with electromagnetic radiation.


In contrast to "normal" smog the electrosmog can't be seen nor smelt. Electrosmog can be detected and satisfactorily shown with specific instruments only. However the current contamination with electrosmog has been massively increased since the 1970's. The most recent developments starting with cellular phones and area-wide wireless internet access have an impact.

But even in households wihout cellular phones and wireless lan electrosmog can nowadays be found everywhere.
